Pet Cemetery

Recently, I had the pleasure of visiting Lily Dale-go to Lily Dale - A Spiritual Oasis for more information.

During my stay there, I visited the pet cemetery. My initial impression was that it was rather small in comparison to others that I had seen.

As I walked around, I could feel the spiritual energy that others had sensed and talked about.

Wanting to take some pictures, I sat down on one of the two benches there, and started to adjust my camera. Out of nowhere, a large, grey colored cat appeared sitting next to me. I was so startled by the presence of the cat that I dropped everything that was on my lap.

As I got up to pick up my belongings, I noticed that the cat had remained on the bench and was behaving outlandishly. He started jerking and jumping in an erratic and uncontrollable manner. It was similar to the movie The Exorcist where the girl was possessed by a demon. The only thing missing was the spinning of the head.

Alarmed by the cat's behavior, I decided to move to the other bench. In a flash, he had jumped to the bench where I was sitting and continued his performance. By now, I was convinced that he did not want me to sit on either one of the benches.

By this time, I noticed a couple staring at us. They appeared to be amused by what had transpired.

Feeling a bit awkward by the situation- the cat controlling my actions, I decided to take matters into my own hands. I firmly looked into his eyes, and said, "Stop bothering me... let me take some pictures...go over to them and show them around the cemetery!"

Immediately, he stopped what he was doing, jumped off the bench and went over to the couple. A few mintues later, I noticed that he was calmly walking beside the couple leading them out of the cemetery.

The entire time that I was there taking pictures, no one, not even the cat, appeared. I remained there for approximately 30 minutes taking pictures and enjoying the peacefulness of the cemetery.

Upon my departure from the cemetery, I saw the cat calmly sitting opposite the entrance. He sat there as if he was the gate keeper or guardian of the cemetery.

After that day, I had passed by the entrance of the cemetery several times, and never once saw the cat again.

When I got home from my trip, I started to view the pictures I had taken at the pet cemetery. I noticed that in one of the pictures something had appeared that I was not aware of while visiting the cemetery. It appeared to be an apparition of some kind. Astonished by my discovery, I enlarged the picture. Yes, it appeared to be the figure of a person with a headdress in front of a tree. You can look below and decide for yourself.

Indeed, my visit to Lily Dale's pet cemetery was without a doubt fascinating.
