Spiritual Jesus -My Spiritual Beacon

One day, while driving, I had a sudden vision. The image of Jesus, as seen on the left, appeared to me. Immediately, I felt the urge to paint a picture of the image.

By the middle of the painting process, I realized that the figure that I was painting was similar to the one I had seen in my dream many years ago-read Spiritual Dream. Moreover, it became apparent that it was Jesus, who guided me towards the path to Yemaya.

Interpretation of the Spiritual Jesus Painting:

Due to the dark times the world is experiencing (natural disasters, war, poverty, etc.), Jesus Christ is trying to tell us that He is the spiritual light who is waiting to guide us out of the darkness and into the light. All we need to do is have faith. The yellow, orange and green colors, on the side of the painting, represent love, warmth and protection coming down from the heavens to earth; the dove represents purity; and the Virgin Mary represents hope and faith. Prayer, as mentioned previously, is a valuable communicative tool. There are a myriad of prayers dedicated to Jesus that people utilize everyday. Even though these prayers are considered beneficial, they cannot compare to your personal creation. When the words come from within, the impact is more powerful and meaningful. Therefore, the best prayer is the one that comes from the heart. Each time we speak to Jesus or God, we are composing our own personal prayer. Everyone has this ability. All you need to do is open up your heart and allow the words and emotions to come out. Go to communicating with God for further information on speaking with God.

Recently, I was speaking to a woman who was seeking spiritual advice. When I told her to open up her heart and speak to Jesus, she said, "I don't know how." I was amazed at her response. She was capable of attending a social gathering and speaking to strangers, but she was unable to speak to Jesus Christ. After speaking with her for a while, I realized that she was living in total darkness and was a prisoner in her own personal bondage of suffering.

Prayer In Time Of Suffering

Behold me, my beloved Jesus, weighted down under the burden of my trials and sufferings, I cast myself at Your Feet, that You may renew my strength and courage, while I rest here in Your presence. Permit me to lay down my cross in Your Sacred Heart, for only Your Infinite goodness can sustain me; only Your Love can help me bear my cross; Only Your powerful hand can lighten its weight.

O Divine King Jesus, whose heart is so compassionate to the afflicted, I wish to live in You, suffer and die in You. During my life be my model and my support. At the hour of my death, be my hope and my refuge...............Amen (Author Unknown)
